Who we are
FFMatrix is an independent Fantasy Premier League analytics project. It is not affiliated with the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League or any club. To ask us anything about this policy, use the contact form.
What we collect
- Launch sign-up. Your email address, when you enter it in the sign-up form.
- Contact form. Your name, your email address, an optional subject and your message, when you send them.
- Team viewer. If you use My team, the FPL team ID you enter is sent to our server, which reads that team’s public data from Fantasy Premier League and keeps a copy for up to 15 minutes so repeat visits load quickly. We never ask for your FPL password.
- On your device. If you switch between light and dark mode, use the team viewer, or open player, team and tool pages, the site stores that choice, your team ID or a short list of the pages you viewed recently (offered in the search box) in your browser so it can remember them. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time (the team viewer has a “Forget this team” button, and the search box has “Clear recently viewed”).
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising trackers. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you (see below).
What we use it for
- Sign-up emails: to tell you when FFMatrix is ready, to send occasional build updates, and to send the pre-launch discount code.
- Contact messages: to reply to you.
Who else handles it
- Formspree (formspree.io) receives form submissions and passes them to our inbox. It is a US-based service, so your details may be processed outside the UK.
- Vercel (vercel.com) hosts this site and runs the team viewer. Vercel Web Analytics gives us anonymous totals, such as page views, the page you came from, your country and device type. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you. Vercel is a US-based service.
- Fantasy Premier League receives a request from our server (not from your browser) when you look up a team in the team viewer.
- Google Fonts supplies the IBM Plex Sans typeface. When a page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as with any request to its servers.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up and contact details until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to stop receiving emails at any time. Use the contact form and we’ll act on it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change what the site collects, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
