How the rating works

Minutes and starts

Over the chosen gameweeks we compare the minutes a player played with the minutes his team played (90 a game), and how many of those games the player started. Playing every minute of every game scores 0; never playing scores 100. Minutes count for 60% and starts for 40%.

Flags

If FPL gives a chance of playing below 100%, the rating is at least 100 minus that chance. Injured, suspended and unavailable players are rated very high.

Levels

Low under 25, Medium 25 to 49, High 50 to 74, Very high 75 and over. It is a simple guide from past minutes, not a prediction of team selection.
