Chip strategy

Chip strategy
Predicted points each chip adds in each gameweek, compared with your plan as it stands.
| Chip | GW6 | GW7 | GW8 | GW9 | GW10 | GW11 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bench Boost | +7.5 | +7.2 | +7.7 | +7.9 | +6.9 | +8.0 (best week) |
| Triple Captain | +5.8 | +7.5 (best week) | +6.7 | +7.2 | +5.6 | +7.3 |
| Free Hit | +11.9 | +12.2 | +6.9 | +10.1 | +15.0 (best week) | +8.0 |
| Wildcard | +55.9 (best week) | +49.4 | +44.8 | +46.1 | +41.7 | +38.6 |
- Bench Boost: best in GW11, +8.0 points.
- Triple Captain: best in GW7, +7.5 points.
- Free Hit: best in GW10, +15.0 points.
- Wildcard: best in GW6, +55.9 points.
In the planner you select a value to plan that chip there (it moves from any other week in the same half). Bench Boost counts the bench’s points, Triple Captain the captain’s once more. Free Hit and Wildcard build the best squad on the same budget: for one week, or held over the following weeks against your planned transfers. Only these gameweeks are projected, so a chip saved for a double gameweek later in the season can be worth more than anything here.
